At ICU Eyewear, we’re working to reduce our environmental impact through the materials we choose. From bamboo to plant-based plastics, we’re exploring alternatives for the glasses you wear every day.
Renewable Materials
We use materials such as bamboo and castor bean–derived bioplastic in selected frames, helping reduce our reliance on petroleum-based materials.
Plant-Based Plastic
Our bioplastic is made using oil from castor beans, a renewable crop that does not compete with food crops.
Giving Materials Another Life
Our plastic frames use recyclable materials that can be processed into material for new products. Check with your local recycling provider to find out whether they accept eyewear.
