Seva is a global nonprofit eye care organization that transforms lives and strengthens communities by restoring sight and preventing blindness.
Seva is a global nonprofit eye care organization that transforms lives and strengthens communities by restoring sight and preventing blindness.
ICU Eyewear’s goal is to help people see better, so we’re also proud to support the Seva Foundation, a nonprofit eye care organization whose aim is to restore and preserve sight, as well as prevent blindness all over the world.
Seva Foundation’s efforts include the creation of eye care programs that are self-sustaining. They also train eye care providers and offer valuable medicine, eyeglasses, surgeries, and more to communities in need.
Since 1978, Seva Foundation has helped millions of people in over 20 countries. And, since 2014, we have done our part by donating thousands of reading glasses and sunglasses.
Most of our donations have been distributed to underserved Native American communities, including the tribal eye care clinic on the Santo Domingo Pueblo (also known as the Kewa Pueblo) in Santo Domingo, New Mexico. We plan on continuing our support of Seva so more people can receive the gift of restored sight.
